Watch the Drone Races at Kualoa Ranch!

Happen to be on Oahu October 17-22nd, 2016? Great! Then come on out and see drone racing live and meet all the top pilots from around the world. There are two events during the week, the Aloha Cup and the main World Drone Racing Championships. Both events are free. The location and times of the events are listed below.

Aloha Cup

The Aloha Cup is the last, official qualifier event for the World Drone Racing Championships tour across 37 Countries in 2016. It’s your final chance to qualify for the individual, freestyle and wing categories. It will be located in the Iconic main field of the World Championships at Kualoa Ranch. The top ten winning individual pilots will advance into the Championship mains along with the top 20% of the Freestyle and Wing winners.

The race villages offer vendors and sponsors, areas to meet pilots and general viewing. Food Trucks will be available and general grass areas are available along the tracks.  You’re more than welcome to bring your tent or shade canopy, camp chairs and your own food and beverages. Parking is available on site.

World Drone Racing Championships

The World Drone Racing Championships is the event we’ve all been waiting for. It’s the pinnacle of the best pilots from around the world coming together to see who’s champion. This event is the first true world qualifying drone racing event where every pilot has had to earn their right to compete.

How to Watch Drone Racing

While watching drone racing is fun just by simply viewing the drones whizzing around the track at speeds of 50-100mph, it’s even more fun watching as if you were in the drone and experiencing what “First Person View” really means.
